What does LEGO® have to do with data centers? If you attend this year’s Gartner Data Center Conference (December 5-8), we will explain how many organizations are taking a modular approach (much like using LEGOs) to deploy solutions inside their facilities.

Having previously attended Gartner Research events, I can vouch for the wealth of information and insight provided at these venues. From the keynote presentations, to the more than 120 breakout sessions and the exhibitor showcase, there is sure to be something of interest to anyone who attends.

This year will be special for CommScope  as we will not only be exhibiting in the Solution Showcase, but will be presenting in one of the Solution Provider sessions. Our very own David Hall, Enterprise solutions manager, will be speaking on the challenges faced by data center organizations as they work to keep pace with a changing business environment. Indeed, many of the topics to be covered at this year’s event revolve around both a growing and changing IT landscape including virtualization, storage and cloud computing. David’s presentation will provide the audience with a best practices overview on how to design and deploy technologies today to easily evolve for the challenges presented tomorrow. Much of David’s presentation will provide examples of how customers are using a modular approach for the solutions that help data center organizations save time, labor and product cost within their facility.

For those attending this year’s event, I hope you not only have the chance to hear David speak, but to also stop by our booth. We have a number of new solutions and product releases that are designed to help data center staff quickly and easily deploy solutions for their physical infrastructure and we would be glad to answer questions and get feedback for challenges and needs within your organization. I can’t say that we’ll be handing out LEGOs for take-aways, but you may walk away with something even better.
