What You Need to Know About Broadband Optical Advancements

Posted by Robert Riggsby on January 31, 2013

During the 2012 SCTE Cable-Tec Expo®, I gave a presentation discussing the “right” architecture that balances fiber utilization, engineering and topology. My presentation showcases the various broadband Passive Optical Network and Radio Frequency over Glass architectures for residential, headend/central office and commercial applications.

In addition, I highlight our E2O™ solution—a solution that allows the enabler to bridge from a HFC network to deploy FTTx. I discuss this solution later on in the presentation.
