BRAY, IRELAND, May 8, 2013—To demonstrate the company’s leadership in wireless, broadband and enterprise solutions, CommScope recently opened a new Technology Innovation Center at its Bray, Ireland facility.

“We have a long history of enabling wired and wireless communication networks and invest an average of approximately €100 million each year in developing innovative and agile solutions, some of which are now included within the Bray facility,” said Fiona Nolan, senior vice president, Global Marketing, CommScope. “The opening of this new innovation center is testament of our commitment to our customers to keep them ahead of the technology curve.”

The 1,800-square foot Technology Innovation Center incorporates a research and development laboratory and a solution demonstration area. The display area is complemented by a customerExecutiveBriefingCenter which opened in 1999.

The many systems on display in the demonstration area includes CommScope’s advanced intelligent infrastructure solution for enterprise customers, an award-winning Universal Wideband Edge quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) solution designed to provide cable TV operators with the efficiency and flexibility needed to operate in competitive market.

Another display includes CommScope’s latest cellular antenna systems from the Andrew® portfolio of wireless solutions.  Featured are solutions which help wireless operators significantly increase capacity at cell sites and optimize their networks for high performance in addressing ever-increasing data demands from customers.
