For the fourth year in a row, Andrew Solutions, the CommScope, Inc. division that is a global leader in wireless communication systems and products, has won a major supplier award from Huawei for superior products and performance.
Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, honored Andrew Solutions with its 2010 Golden Supplier Award for the company’s advanced, high-quality portfolio of wireless network infrastructure solutions, including base station and microwave antenna and transmission line systems. Earlier this year, Huawei granted CommScope’s wireless division its Best Technical Support Award in recognition of its high-quality microwave antenna technology.

Huawei has grown to become the second largest mobile network equipment provider in the world, serving more than 470 operators in over 130 countries worldwide. Andrew Solutions has enjoyed a long-term relationship with Huawei, supporting the company’s expansion into the Middle East, Brazil, India, Europe, and Africa. Its RF site solutions, particularly antenna and cable equipment, have been deployed in all of the CDMA, WCDMA and CDMA2000 networks built by Huawei globally.
Huawei similarly has honored Andrew Solutions with top supplier prizes during the previous three years, including the 2009 Excellent Core Partner Award, the 2008 Global Core Partner Award, and the 2007 Best Supplier Award. The awards were announced at Huawei’s recent 2010 Supplier Awards Ceremony held in Shenzhen, China.
