Multimarket connectivity solutions to help operators connect and evolve their infrastructure needs for today and tomorrow’s growing market for converged services will be showcased by CommScope, a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communication networks, at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2010 in New Orleans Oct. 20-22.
Through its expanded portfolio of solutions for broadband, wireless and enterprises markets, CommScope provides the essential infrastructure that lets people connect and communicate seamlessly through high-bandwidth data, video, and voice applications everywhere. At the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, CommScope’s Broadband Solutions Group will showcase its broadband product portfolio, engineered to help network operators cost effectively meet the ever increasing demand for bandwidth.

- Wireless Infrastructure: In Site Connect, from CommScope’s Andrew Solutions, allows broadband operators to perform remote monitoring and management functions at cell sites, as well as head end, hub and wireless backhaul applications.
- Commercial Services: CommScope’s comprehensive enterprise solutions support broadband operators as they pursue business customers as well as support the migration to more IP-based services.
- “Green” Power: CommScope’s fuel cell technology for small head end and hub applications delivers the next evolution in back-up power for broadband operators. This green solution yields dramatically improved reliability and virtually eliminates back-up power maintenance costs for broadband service providers.
