CommScope Selected to Supply New Wireless Technology to Tritel Communications; Contract with Tritel, an AT&T Wireless Affiliate, Could Total $15 million
HICKORY, N.C., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- CommScope, Inc. (NYSE: CTV) today announced that Tritel Communications, an affiliate of AT&T Wireless Services, has selected CommScope as the primary supplier of coaxial cable and accessories for the build out of its wireless network throughout the Southeastern United States. This build out includes markets in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

The Tritel contract is expected to generate revenues totaling $15 million over the next two-to-three years. Construction on the proposed sites began in the first quarter of 1999.
