— Building on Previous Experience, Comsearch
Performs Official Spectrum Manager Role for New Wireless Industry Event—
HICKORY, NC, September 8, 2009—Comsearch, a CommScope company, will
manage wireless spectrum and mitigate interference issues by performing
frequency coordination among local wireless operators and the hundreds of
exhibitors at 4G World 2009, which will be
held September 15-18 in Chicago.
Comsearch works with
local operators to prevent event exhibitors from interfering with local
operations; exhibitors to ensure their wireless demonstrations do not interfere
with each other; and Trendsmedia, the events and publishing division of
Yankee Group Research, Inc. and organizer
of 4G World 2009, to help make the show a success. Comsearch conducts pre-show
testing and monitors on-site signals for interference during the event.
“Trendsmedia has engaged Comsearch as our spectrum manager
for three years running for 4G World events. We are extremely pleased with the
service level that we have received, and most importantly the satisfaction
level of our sponsors and exhibitors,” said Eliot Weinman, conference founder,
co-chair and president, Trendsmedia. WiMAX
World is one of the trade shows that Trendsmedia has grouped with other events
and seminars under the name 4G World 2009.
Comsearch has been helping trade show organizers implement successful frequency
coordination plans for their shows for more than 12 years. The company has routinely
performed spectrum management services at several major wireless industry
events in North America in addition to offering strategic consultation,
wireless engineering, frequency planning and administration, and monitoring and
interference measurements to customers. Comsearch has more than a quarter
century of experience providing spectrum management and software and data
solutions to the wireless markets.
“Comsearch has grown to become the wireless industry's
preferred vendor for frequency coordination and interference mitigation, a
leadership role for which we are proud,” said Chris Hardy, vice president and
general manager, Comsearch.
