Optional and specialized GeoLENs solutions and services

The GeoLENs suite of products includes optional and specialized capabilities and services to extend location functionality, system management, and efficiency.

Optional Systems GeoLENs Options

GeoLENs Policy Server is a powerful tool for managing and controlling access to and the quality of location information across the location-enabled network.

GeoLENs OSS (Operation Support System) is a single system solution that can extend operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) support functions for individual GeoLENs platforms and permit administration of multiple platforms.

Specialized Solutions

*GeoLENs LMU (Location Measurement Unit) is used to support emergency location service. LMUs can be optionally installed at selected base station sites to provide measurements used for certain methods of network-based location calculations.

GeoLENs SLP Location Platform provides an affordable Secure User Plane location solution to support commercial LBS without having to involve the network elements required for Control Plane Location (CoPL).

GeoLENs LIS (Location Information Server) is a scalable platform to location-enable your IP networks. The GeoLENs LIS can accommodate small, medium, and large Internet and broadband providers using various underlying technologies.

GeoLENs Indoor works with your in-building DAS systems to enable accurate indoor location that supports all location-based services.

GeoLENs Locate is a software based, location technology agnostic, network application that enables operators to expand their mobile location solution to include the benefits of geofencing and create new opportunities for innovative valued-added services.

GeoLENs Mobile Location by Dynamic Clustering (MLDC) patent pending, uses a type of locating technology known as RF Pattern Matching (RFPM). RF Pattern Matching compares a target mobile’s observations of its immediate RF environment with a database of similar observations taken previously at various geographic points within the network. The previously measured characteristics that most closely match those from the target mobile indicate the mobile’s location.

Value-added Services

E9-1-1 Compliance Testing Services can help ensure you are in compliance with all FCC E9-1-1 location requirements, including the new Second Report and Order.

SUPL Handset Interop Program provides SUPL interoperability testing for handset vendors wishing to validate and ensure interoperability with the GeoLENs SAS and SLP solutions.

Product Enhancement Request. In an effort to streamline the requests for product development and enhancements, Andrew has developed a quick and easy online system to collect and review your valuable input.

GeoLENs Indoor uses Proximity Detection Units (PDU) deployed throughout a campus, office, or virtually any indoor scenario for GSM and UMTS networks with a Distributed Antenna System.
*  GeoLENs Location Measurement Units (LMU) are currently available for Emergency Location Only
