CommScope provides wired cabinets to Power & Tel based on end-user specifications. Power & Tel is then responsible for the integration of electronic kits, other third party materials and testing of each cabinet solution. Through its nine U.S. distribution facilities, Power & Tel is expected to sell the integrated cabinets primarily to its customer base, which includes the Independent Operating Companies (IOC), Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) markets.

With the increased deployment of video, voice, data and wireless applications that drive the growth in the Telco market, CommScope and Power & Tel saw an opportunity to provide customers with faster and more flexible ways to obtain custom cabinet solutions. CommScope has been supplying Power & Tel with the 50 and 52 Series cabinets, which are wired and include a power shelf, since March 2006. Power & Tel completes the equipment integration and is authorized to sell and distribute the cabinet solutions within the United States.
