The FTP-J6 Information Outlet is an integral part of the Uniprise Foiled Twisted Pair (F/UTP) System. This
product meets the Category 6 specifications as specified in ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-C.2-1, IEC 60603-7-5 and
ISO/IEC 11801. The FTP-J6 meets all component specifications to 250MHz and utilizes the same proprietary
cross-talk cancellation techniques for superior NEXT and PSNEXT as with other Uniprise patented
information outlets.
The FTP-J6 is an F/UTP modular information outlet with insulation displacement connector (IDC) cable terminations. The insulation displacement connector accepts 22 (0.643 mm) and 24-AWG (0.511 mm)
insulated wire. A D-Impact Tool can be used for easy termination of the conductors. The high-tooth pair
splitters have been enhanced to separate very tightly twisted cable pairs to maintain the twist up to the
connection.
