DUBLIN, Ireland, November 1, 2007 -- CommScope, Inc. (NYSE:CTV), a
global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, announces
that Dave Gilmore has been promoted to Managing Director of Manufacturing for
Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based at the Bray manufacturing
facility, Gilmore will have responsibility for managing the development, manufacturing,
supply and quality of SYSTIMAX products for the EMEA market.
Gilmore,
who previously served as CommScope’s General Manager of Operations (EMEA), has
served the company for twelve years in various capacities including engineering,
production and operations.

CommScope’s business opportunities, most notably our customers’ growing demand

Prior to joining CommScope,
Gilmore held management roles with ABB and Munekata, including spending a year
in Japan working with the parent company.
He holds a BSc. in Polymer
Technology from Athlone Institute of Technology, a Masters in Industrial Engineering
from UCD and an MBA from Smurfit Business School, UCD.

Bray manufacturing facility totals approximately 12,000 square meters, of which
9,700 square meters serve as manufacturing space. In addition to manufacturing,
the facility hosts EMEA sales, marketing and product management teams and general
