The SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED X10D Solution has been specifically engineered with enhanced cable and connector performance designed to support emerging 10 Gigabit Ethernet requirements. The GigaSPEED X10D U/UTP Solution complies with the ratified IEEE 802.3an 10GBASE-T standard and fully complies with Class E_A cabling channel specifications and Category 6A cabling specifications. The GigaSPEED X10D Solution provides a next generation total solution that supports both the bandwidth needs of today's enterprises and the needs of more demanding applications such as high resolution video, grid computing, data centers and Storage Area Network/Network Attached Storage (SAN/NAS).

In developing the GigaSPEED X10D Solution, CommScope Labs utilized its unique Modal Decomposition Modeling (MDM) tool to evaluate the 1,024 interactions between adjacent, as well as within individual, cabling components to achieve substantial reduction in alien crosstalk (ANEXT or noise from adjacent cables and connectors). In addition, the performance of the GigaSPEED X10D Solution has been tested and qualified in what is viewed as worst-case installation channel test configurations, known as the '6-around-1' cable configuration.

The GigaSPEED X10D 91B series cable is constructed with SYSTIMAX’s innovative Optimized Material Technology (OMT) which not only reduces the cable's core, but optimizes transmission performance, giving network managers increased rack space and airflow without succumbing to alien crosstalk. The diameter of the 91B Series cables has been reduced – 0.285 cable diameter.

The SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED X10D F/UTP Solution brings leading-edge capabilities to the F/UTP cabling market. Designed to support the new 10 Gb/s networking and cabling standards, the GigaSPEED X10D F/UTP Solution complies fully with Class E_A cabling channel specifications and Category 6A cabling channel specifications.
