leader in broadband and high-performance communications cables,
today announced that it has signed a four-year contract to supply
Bell Atlantic (NYSE: BEL) with twisted-pair and coaxial cable. The
supply agreement began March 1, 1999.
CommScope is expected to supply twisted-pair cable for the
ongoing expansion and maintenance of Bell Atlantic's corporate
networks, home automation cables for Bell Atlantic Home Automation
Program and other coaxial cables for central office
applications.
