CommScope Names New Senior Vice President To Lead Local Area Network Sales and Marketing
HICKORY, N.C., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- CommScope's (NYSE: CTV), a world leader in the premise-wiring (LAN) market, today named Mike Murphy as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company's Local Area Network business. In his new leadership role, Murphy will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the sales and marketing organization.

Murphy, 50, has more than 25 years experience in production and marketing of high-performance, high-bandwidth cables for telecommunications applications. He has held executive management positions such as Vice President, Sales and Marketing-Electronic Products, Vice President and Director of Domestic Sales, Director of Engineering and National Sales Operation Manager for Belden.
