5G Migration Path of in-building 4G deployments
|The 3GPP ratified the initial 5G standards in 2017. Although, early 5G planning will start in 2018, LTE usage and build-outs will dwarf 5G well into the next decade. For operators, neutral hosts and enterprises, the challenge is to deploy LTE systems that will support an economic migration to a mix of LTE and 5G services. This session will examine how recent advances in C-RAN and virtualization Antenna System can be leveraged to simplify LTE deployments today, while avoiding the need to rip and replace for 5G in future.|
