Andrew Corporation, a global leader in communications systems and products, will feature its complete end-to-end range of innovative products for the global communications infrastructure industry at PT/Wireless & Networks Comm China 2005 in Beijing October 18-22.

Andrew will welcome customers and other industry participants to its booth (#7D21, Hall 7) at the China International Exhibition Center, where it will showcase its market-leading products and solutions that support the radio frequency (RF) path, satellite communications, network coverage and capacity requirements, and radio network optimization and management.

To highlight the company's expertise in wireless network coverage, Patrick Leung, vice president at Andrew Telecommunications (China) Co. Ltd., will look ahead to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing with insights and recommendations during a special presentation to attendees of the symposium held concurrently with PT/Wireless & Networks Comm China. Leung's presentation, "The Challenges and Opportunities Faced by Wireless Operators/OEMs/Suppliers in Supporting Major Sporting Events such as the 2008 Olympics," is scheduled for October 19 at 14:30 - 15:15 in Room 201, General Services Building, China International Exhibition Center.

"Andrew Corporation has proudly supported customers in China for many years and we continue to expand our presence in China's rapidly growing communications market," Leung said. "We look forward to demonstrating how Andrew can help operators and equipment system vendors with our world-class local manufacturing, sales, distribution, and research and development capabilities."

Andrew will exhibit its extensive offerings and their benefits to operators for 3G communications systems, such as rapid rollouts, reduced delivery cycles, guaranteed quality of service, improved coverage and capacity, and reduced capital expenditures and operating expenditures. Among the featured offerings are:

-- Dual- and tri-band application-driven Decibel(R) base station antennas. These antennas with two or three arrays tuned to different bands under one radome were developed to be cost effective and space saving for co-location sites, urban networks, and 3G migration. The Decibel(R) Teletilt(R) remote electrical tilt demonstration will show how easy this system is to use for remote tilt adjustments.

-- Tower mounted amplifiers, with a demonstration of how both tower mounted amplifiers and antenna tilt functions can be controlled from a laptop through the Andrew intelligent power distribution unit.

-- Coverage and capacity solutions products, including digital nodes, high power optical distributed antenna systems, digital repeaters for pico and micro applications, and cable boosters.

-- Power amplifiers and custom manufactured filters, diplexers, and combiners for use in 2G, 2.5G, and 3G systems.

-- Andrew's wireless network design, optimization, management, and location solutions, such as the Geometrix(R) mobile location system's new capabilities that support all enterprise and consumer location-based services; new release version 4.3 of Invex3G(TM) wireless network drive test system; and new version 5.2 of the Odyssey(TM) radio coverage prediction planner.

-- Andrew's new Type 845 84 cm elliptical receive/transmit VSAT antenna system for enterprise and consumer networks in the Asia-Pacific region that use Internet applications.

-- HELIAX(R) AVA5 low attenuation coaxial cable with Positive Stop(TM) connectors.

-- Cinta(TM) braided cables.

-- Coral(TM) ultraflexible corrugated aluminum cables.

-- Arrestor Plus(R) surge arrestors.

-- In-cabinet micro-assemblies.

-- Tower installation accessories.
