CommScope Announces the Launch of the CommScope® MFP420 Information Outlet

CommScope, Inc. (NYSE:CTV), a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, today announced the availability of its CommScope MFP420 Foiled Twisted Pair (FTP) Information Outlet. The new MFP420 is the latest CommScope Information Outlet which supports Category 6 specifications for 22 to 24 American Wire Gauge (AWG) cable while utilizing CommScope’s proprietary cross-talk cancellation techniques for superior Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Power Sum Near-End Crosstalk (PSNEXT). The MFP420 also features a tunnel and an angled displacement cable connection (IDC) slot to provide guidance for more consistent and accurate terminations.

In addition, the MFP420 is backwards compatible with lower category cords and cables but provides optimal performance when utilized with Category 6 network infrastructure solutions. Other features include a universal design, 250 MHz compatible, multicolored labeling system, and easy installation.
