June 7, 2006 LONDON

SYSTIMAX Solutions™ the worldwide leader in structured connectivity solutions and its BusinessPartner, FES Ltd, today announced the completion of a 10-gigabit UTP structured cabling design and installation project at OKI Printing Solutions in Cumbernauld, Scotland. OKI Printing Solutions is a business printing specialist and market leader in the global colour printer market. With 170km of SYSTIMAX® Structured Connectivity Solutions cabling installed, the infrastructure network is capable of simultaneously supporting applications such as network hardware, SAP, Windows AD infrastructure, Lotus Notes and AS/400 systems.

OKI Printing Solutions, which operates in 120 countries worldwide, chose a system that is comprised of SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED® X10D, GigaSPEED XL and OM3 LazrSPEED® solutions. The solution runs throughout the entire Cumbernauld site, which is the company’s European Operations Centre for manufacturing, supply chain, finance, information systems, human resources and engineering, and home to the company’s European data centre.

Ian Gray, European Infrastructure Support Manager, OKI Printing Solutions noted that, “We are dedicated to improving the quality of our printing solutions and our IT infrastructure is pivotal to this process. We looked for a provider whose product quality, reliability and performance would support our aims and growth for our network requirements. We chose the SYSTIMAX cabling solution because it fulfilled all of our requirements and we felt it would be the most reliable solution.”

OKI Printing Solutions worked with FES and Anixter in Scotland to ensure the project was completed on time while meeting all the set objectives. In 2005, SYSTIMAX Solutions and Anixter named FES as their Authorised BusinessPartner of the Year. FES has proved the award was well deserved by completing SYSTIMAX’s first 10G contract in Scotland.

John McCarthy, Managing Director of SYSTIMAX Solutions in Northern Europe said, “With the standards for 10G being ratified later this year, we are pleased to see OKI Printing Solutions becoming yet another early adopter of this ground-breaking technology. Our range of 10G solutions enabled us to provide the company with the level of expertise and cabling infrastructure that met its requirements. We think they will be very glad they embraced this state-of-the-art technology.”
