completion of a 10-gigabit UTP structured cabling design and
installation project at OKI Printing Solutions in Cumbernauld, Scotland.
OKI Printing Solutions is a business printing specialist and market
leader in the global colour printer market. With 170km of SYSTIMAX®
Structured Connectivity Solutions cabling installed, the infrastructure
network is capable of simultaneously supporting applications such as
network hardware, SAP, Windows AD infrastructure, Lotus Notes and AS/400
OKI Printing Solutions, which operates in 120 countries worldwide, chose
a system that is comprised of SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED® X10D, GigaSPEED XL and
OM3 LazrSPEED® solutions. The solution runs throughout the entire
Cumbernauld site, which is the company’s European Operations Centre for
manufacturing, supply chain, finance, information systems, human
resources and engineering, and home to the company’s European data
