SYSTIMAX Solutions™, the worldwide leader in structured connectivity solutions, today announced the appointment of Jaliya (Jay) Rambukpota as the company’s new Managing Director for the Japan region.
As Managing Director, Jay will oversee all sales and operations, as well as promote SYSTIMAX Solutions’ presence and services in Japan. He will manage relationships with in-country BusinessPartners to market the company’s solutions and will be responsible for delivering the quality of service and solution reliability to its customers here.

Jay brings with him a wealth of experience gained through his years in Avaya and NEC, both within and outside of Japan. Prior to his appointment at SYSTIMAX Solutions, he was director of Global Finance Accounts for Avaya Japan, where he was responsible for strategic vertical industries, particularly in the financial services industry. He also spent three years with Avaya Singapore and its predecessor Lucent Technologies, where he was the Regional Account Director for Multinational Customers. During this time, he garnered accolades within the company such as the Vice President’s Award, Best Sales Team Award and Outstanding Sales Award.
Jay holds a City & Guilds Telecommunication and Technicians certificate from London, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Singapore Institute of Management and a Masters in Business Administration from the Anaheim University in California. In addition, he earned a Diploma in Language Sciences from the Reitaku University in Japan.
