ARRIS Honored with CSI Award at IBC 2018

During this IBC 2018 in Amsterdam, we were recognized with a CSI Award (Cable and Satellite International Magazine) for "Best Network Delivery Technology." The award recognized our work with Stofa to launch Europe’s first Gigabit Internet service based on ARRIS’s DOCSIS® 3.1 technology and distributed architecture, which is designed to increase network capacity, achieve operational efficiencies, and deliver faster speeds and next-generation services to subscribers.

Stofa leveraged ARRIS's award-winning E6000® Converged Edge Router and the ARRIS NC2000 nodes with RemotePHY (R-PHY) module to support DOCSIS 3.1. You can hear more about the deployment, which was completed earlier this year, from Stofa’s CTO Jacob Larsen.
