Dave Charlton is Director, Video Solutions at CommScope. Mr. Charlton has extensive experience in the information technology, voice technology, and broadband areas of the telecommunications industry. He has upper management experience as a V.P. of Business Development, IT executive, and General Manager for a large cable telecommunications company. His background includes pioneering the successful launch of one of the first CATV high-speed data products in the country, as well as directing the IT and telecom divisions of the most advanced cable telecommunications company in the industry. He has been a principal author and project manager for a statewide telecommunications study, a large County government strategic telecommunications plan, and a large metropolitan school system strategic telecommunications plan. Most recently he has been a consultant and program manager for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the country. He has played a strategic role in the planning and rollout of video services with a focus on video-on-demand services. Also extensive experience with DRM technologies and Multi-screen Ad Insertion.
