Patrick Yantz

Patrick Yantz is the vice president of data center solutions at CommScope. Patrick has a passion for delivering the most efficient, cost effective, and holistic data center solutions to customers around the world, by leading in the development and implementation of innovations that change the way infrastructure is designed, manufactured, delivered, and supported. Previously he was Chief Innovation Officer at Saivertech Corp and Principal Member of the Saiver Modular Data Center program, where he designed and delivered the world's most efficient data centers around the globe. Prior to that, he was responsible for the Vision, Strategy, and Scaling of the SGI Container and Modular Data Center business. Past experience includes Enterprise level Data Center Architecture, Design Management, Data Center Research, Engineering, Systems Architecture, Global Operations, Hosting Services, Business, Program, People, and Project Management. He started as owner of a custom computer consulting service in the Pacific Northwest then developed a strong foundation in the Valley while participating in the data center evolution as a server system, network, and sales engineer in the hosting services space. Past roles include Architecting Microsoft’s Generation 4 Enterprise Modular Data Centers and coordinating with and managing Global, Regional, and local Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firms. In addition he led engineers to design and deliver low cost, low PUE, and operationally superior modular data centers. He was responsible for architecting and engineering individual globally deployable modular data center systems. He owned the delivery and piloted Microsoft's first outdoor Modular Server System (ITPAC) capable of being independently deployed globally, requiring no chilled water, with outside air as the primary means of cooling. He regularly speaks to industry leaders and Officers on the subjects of Enterprise Operational Management, Data Centers, Modular Data center Design, Infrastructure, and Paradigm shifting Technologies.
