Tom Murphy took the role of director global super tech/hyperscale at CommScope in October 2013.  His prior assignment was to direct the wired and wireless solutions initiatives for CommScope’s U.S. based global financial customers.  Mr. Murphy started his career in telecommuncations in 1999 managing sales and operations for a regional telecommunications installation firm where he received his RCDD in 2002.  In 2004, Mr. Murphy was hired by CommScope to manage a territory for the newly acquired SYSTIMAX portfolio.  In 2006, Mr. Murphy became a client director where he helped to manage a 1,725 mile fiber build for a North Carolina based non-profit as part of the BTOP program.  Mr. Murphy lead the effort to form a dedicated sales and support team for super tech/hyperscale.  In all, Mr. Murphy has 17 years of experience solving communications problems for some of the world’s most exciting companies.
