“We are excited to see what the NASCAR Cup Series season brings this year – both on and off the track – for Daniel and our continued collaboration,” said Jack Carlson, Chief Commercial Officer, CommScope. “We love the focus, drive, and passion of Trackhouse Racing, we’re proud to work with them on reaching the next level of success, and we’re always excited to engage with NASCAR and its fans.”

CommScope’s support of NASCAR extends to the technology side, deploying wired and wireless connectivity solutions in numerous racing venues and stadiums including Daytona International Speedway and Phoenix Raceway. The company provides in-building cellular and WiFi networks, venue and data center cabling solutions, and other network products to create the world’s most advanced networks.

“High speed, world-class performance with cutting-edge technology is what CommScope and Team Trackhouse both pursue in our quest for excellence,” said Carlson.

The Monterrey, Mexico native Daniel Suárez notably stands out as the only foreign-born national series champion in NASCAR history with his 2016 Xfinity Series title. He posted four top-10 finishes and led 74 laps in 2021 – his first season driving for the startup Trackhouse team.

Trackhouse Entertainment Group headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, is a burgeoning sports and entertainment enterprise with plans to marry the cultures of music and motorsports. It owns Trackhouse Racing and is headquartered in Concord, North Carolina, which fields Chevrolet Camaros for Suárez and teammate Ross Chastain.

“We take great pride in retaining a company like CommScope at Trackhouse Racing,” said Trackhouse Entertainment group owner Justin Marks.

“It is important that Trackhouse creates and shows value for our partners, so we very much appreciate CommScope continuing this relationship.”

Suárez agreed.

“CommScope’s support over the years has been essential to my career,” said the 30-year-old Suárez who begins his sixth full-time season in the Cup Series at Daytona. “With CommScope’s help, we took big steps as a single car team in 2021 and now we are ready to take another step in 2022 as a two-car team. We also have some really cool plans to help communities and kids this season that we will announce later.”

Marks announced GRAMMY® Award-winning global superstar Armando Christian Perez (Pitbull) as a partner of Trackhouse Racing in January of 2021. Not only has Pitbull served as an active partner on the Trackhouse executive team, he served as a brand and philanthropic ambassador becoming a familiar face around racetracks across America. Away from the track, Marks and Pitbull launched a racing-themed STEM curriculum within the SLAM! (Sports Leadership Arts and Management) inner-city charter schools -- which Pitbull helped establish eight years ago.
