But we didn't stop there. We also looked beyond the licensed spectrum for ways in which wireless networks could expand their capacity. Our latest small cell antennas do exactly this by supporting carrier aggregation to combine licensed LTE bands with unlicensed spectrum. By taking advantage of Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) and Citizens Broadband Radio Services (CBRS) with unlicensed 3.5 and 5 GHz bands, these antenna systems help move your network closer to 5G download speeds (reaching Gigabit LTE speeds). CommScope’s design maximizes gain for the 1.7-2.7 GHz bands while offering full compliance to FCC Part 15 for all 5 GHz UNII bands, even when the radios are running at full power.
