The CommScope After Market Services (AMS) team does post-sales support on RF conditioning products. While we offer a wide array of services, a majority of our offering is focused on the return and repair of Andrew filter and power amplifier products. What we are offer to customers is the chance to extend the life cycle of their RF Path components. Instead of buying new filters or amplifiers, customers can repair damaged ones, which is more cost-effective. If the product is still under warranty, we are the group that handles the end to end warranty process.

After market services are a cost-effective method because it typically costs customers less to repair products than to replace them. We also handle the warranty claims and replacements for these RF products. Some customers have turnaround times built into their contracts, and I am proud to say that AMS has a 98% on-time delivery performance. We also see less than 1% of our repaired equipment returned for repair for the same fault. One of the values of repairing equipment is that it is returned at factory-new specification levels. Plus, our experience in repairing these products helps us to improve next generation products. This results in improved product performance for new designs.

With over 29 years in the telecommunications industry, David has experience with field measurements, software testing, program management, engineering design, software development and product lifecycle management.
