Shawn Kordes
Shawn Kordes is regional vice president, Southern region for the Enterprise solutions division of CommScope, a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks. He is responsible for leading the field sales team in the Southern region for Enterprise. Mr. Kordes joined CommScope in 2005 as national account manager. He subsequently served as director of major accounts and channel sales, then as NAR channel vice president before assuming his current position.
Prior to joining CommScope, Mr. Kordes worked at Pirelli Cables North America until 1998. His positions ranged from regional marketing leader in the Energy Division to product manager in the Communications Division. He then spent seven years at Hitachi Cable Manchester as regional account manager, where he was responsible for managing the sales and marketing activity for over one third of the US market. For the last few years with Hitachi, Mr. Kordes was also responsible for managing the relationship with the largest distributor partner in North America.
Mr. Kordes was named CommScope’s NAR Channel Champion in 2006 and 2007, and Coach of the Year in 2010. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1993 with a BS in Business Administration. Mr. Kordes currently lives in Lexington, South Carolina with his wife, Michelle, and his daughters, Bree and Riley.
