Who Are We?

CommScope, Inc., located at 2601 Telecom Parkway, Richardson, TX 75082 and its affiliates and subsidiaries (hereinafter “CommScope”) is responsible for processing your personal data as set out in this Privacy Notice.  

CommScope is the Data Controller in respect of personal data which we collect and process to provide our services.  

We, CommScope, design, manufacture, install and support the hardware infrastructure and software intelligence that enable our digital society to interact and thrive. Working with customers, we advance broadband, enterprise and wireless networks to power progress and create last connections.

This Notice sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or from others, will be processed by us.  This data may be collected directly from you offline through contact forms and other communications or online when you visit our web site. The scope of this Notice includes our Ruckus-branded products and services.

Who Do We Share This Personal Data With?

We take your privacy seriously and only share personal data with trusted third parties when necessary and in compliance with applicable law. Attached below in Schedule 1 is a list of all categories of third parties with whom your personal data is shared and for what purpose. 

In the event of a business reorganization/restructuring/divestiture, the personal data outlined above may also be shared with any corporate purchaser or prospect (including at the due diligence stage) to the extent permitted by law as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, as well as in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personal data would be transferred as an asset of CommScope.   


How Long Do We Keep Hold Of Your Personal Data?

We only collect the personal data necessary for us to fulfil our obligations to you. We will only keep that data for certain periods. The time periods for which we retain your data depends on the type of personal data and the purposes for which we use it. We will keep your personal data for no longer than is required or permitted.


Do We Transfer Your Personal Data Outside The European Union or The European Economic Area ("EU/EEA")?

You should expect that the recipients set out in Schedule 1 may be located inside or outside the EU/EEA.  

  • Certain recipients are in a country outside of the EU/EEA that is recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection from an EU General Data Protection Regulation perspective, such as the UK, Argentina, Canada (for non-public organizations subject to the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), Switzerland, and New Zealand. Recipients in the U.S. are certified under the EU- S. Data Privacy Framework and thereby also recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection from a European data protection law perspective. CommScope has in place Binding Corporate Rules for transfers between group companies, and International Data Transfer Agreements with third parties

  • Other recipients might be in countries which do not adduce an adequate level of protection from an EU General Data Protection Regulation perspective (in particular, India) CommScope will take all necessary measures to ensure that transfers out of the EU/EEA are adequately protected as required by applicable data protection law.

  • With respect to transfers to countries not providing an adequate level of data protection, we may base the transfer on appropriate safeguards, such as International Data Transfer Agreements with third parties and Binding Corporate Rules for transfers between group companies,]standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission or by a supervisory authority, approved code of conducts together with binding and enforceable commitments of the recipient, or approved certification mechanisms together with binding and enforceable commitments of the recipient.   • The data transfer to Data Processors which are neither certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework nor in a country with other adequacy decision will typically also be protected by such standard data protection clauses.

Marketing Choices

You have control regarding our use of your Personal Data for directing marketing. If you no longer wish to receive any marketing communications, remain on a mailing list to which you previously subscribed, or receive any other marketing communication, you can choose to not receive such communications at any time.
