The Aerial Fiber Access Terminal (Aerial FAT) is engineered with a single layer structure, featuring two distinct sections with separatedlocking mechanisms to isolate Home Pass and Home Connect segments. This design effectively mitigates potential service disruptionsduring installation and maintenance activities.

The Aerial FAT serves as an enclosure for the Level 2 (S2) splitter within the FTTX ODN architecture, facilitating connections between theLevel 1 (S1) splitter and end-user connections. Its modular design accommodates 1 or 2 mini cassette splitters with splitting ratio of 1:8, suitable for depyment in both high-density and low-density areas.

This enclosure is meticulously designed to house mini cassette splitters with easy access to SC adapters ensuring secure connections for splitters andcustomer drop cables. The Aerial FAT supports round optical fiber cables with diameters ranging from 5 mm to 15 mm for incoming cables through three ports, configurable as midspan or branching ports based on specific requirements. Additionally, it includes 16 ports designed for 2 mm x 3 mmflat drop cables.This enclosure is designed to handle 12F distribution cable with splicing capacity of 12 splices on the body.The Aerial FAT is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations and can be mounted on walls or poles using appropriate accessories,making it an ideal choice for service providers seeking reliable and efficient fiber distribution solutions.This S2 enclosure Aerial FAT serves the spliced fiber ODN in the FTTH network.
