Setting the Standard—Again and Again

I’ve been with CommScope for a long time—12 years, in fact. And as trite as it may sound, over all that time, the only constant in data center infrastructure has been change. Lots and lots of change.

That’s never been truer than in the last few years as AI applications have exploded onto the scene, hungry for bandwidth, speed and power.

As a part of the CommScope® team responsible for innovating the next generation in high-performance data center infrastructure, I’ve always held a bit of pride over this company’s proactive approach to product development, and that includes our participation in the committees, organizations and governing bodies who publish the actual standards that we all strive to meet—and eventually, to beat.

I recently made this short video showcasing CommScope’s decades-long participation in the design and application standards that have helped move data centers (and indeed all kinds of communications networks) to become more powerful, efficient and useful. In many ways, the systems defined by these standards shape modern life—and I’m proud to work among those who have spent their careers moving those standards forward.

I invite you to check it out and see all the places CommScope is helping shape the advanced network technologies of today, as well as a sneak preview of FastSelfClean™ connector technology, CommScope’s next big step beyond today’s standards and—we hope—an important part in the foundation of tomorrow’s standards.
