The 2014 International CES trade show kicks-off next week, and more than 150,000 attendees will take in the latest consumer technology from around the world. CNET shared its list of six trends to watch during the show, including The Internet of Things, OLED, Ultra HD and 4K.
Additionally, our own Dr. Sean McCarthy discussed the future on Gigaom, describing 4K technology as the advanced guard that can open the door Ultra HD. On the same note, Digital Spy posted ten key points consumers should know about 4K and Ultra HD before bringing the technology into their homes.
In other technology news, Communications Daily featured our own Vice President Evan Groat in a discussion of the Department of Energy’s proceedings on set-top efficiency, as well as our CTO David Grubb’s remarks on the cable industry’s transition to the cloud.
