WEEE Customer Recycling
The EU’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), which came into force in 2002 and was recast on August 13, 2012, aims to develop a ‘cradle-to-grave’ approach for the management of Electrical & Electronic Equipment (EEE) especially focusing on their end-of-life stage. CommScope is committed to compliance with the WEEE directive and any other applicable law in the countries in which we operate. When CommScope acquires new business that is not covered by our current WEEE program, we commit to promptly act to implement processes necessary to comply with all applicable requirements of the WEEE directive.
