FLX-ODN-MINI-FAT

The FLX‑ODN Mini Fibre Access Terminal (Mini FAT) is a compact, non‑hardened access point designed to support eight home‑pass connectivity within FTTx optical distribution networks. As part of the FLX‑ODN Plug‑and‑Play architecture, the Mini FAT eliminates the need for on‑site splicing, enabling faster deployment, reduced installation complexity, and lower operational costs for service providers. The Mini FAT is designed to accommodate a single Level‑2 (S2) 1:8 LGX splitter and supports both SC/PC and SC/APC connector interfaces, ensuring compatibility with upstream Level‑1 (S1) splitter stages and downstream subscriber connections. Factory‑terminated interfaces enable consistent optical performance and simplified network planning, installation, and maintenance. The enclosure supports 12‑fibre MPO pre‑terminated tails with G.652D or G.657 fibre types, enabling rapid, spliceless installation. Additional fibres within the pre‑terminated assemblies allow support for co‑existing non‑FTTx applications where required, providing flexibility for mixed‑use access network environments. The FLX‑ODN Mini FAT features a compact, modular design and supports both wall‑mount and pole‑mount installation using appropriate accessories. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide range of deployment scenarios where controlled fibre management, scalability, and operational efficiency are critical.
