As Ricardo Diaz explained in a previous blog, CommScope has a vast library of technical documents on our website including our latest Copper Performance Specifications. In this blog, he explains the benefits to our new Fiber Performance Specifications document.
This customizable document is a compilation of technical specifications created by CommScope engineers and includes supported distances for 109 applications (for example, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, OIF, ESCON and IEEE 1394).
With more than 730 tables in 178 pages, this incredible amount of data is difficult to skim when you are searching for the supported distance for your channel configuration. With our new customization form, you can pick the applications you use more often, discard the others or create your own specs document for future use.

We are trying to target worldwide users so you can save your customized document in A4 or letter format. We hope the new formats and features to enable users to make the most of the document.
We expect both the copper and fiber performance specifications documents achieved our objective, but we won’t know unless you tell us. Please post a comment below to let me know.
