XPND-SPLITTER-MODULES

With high and low count splitter modules, the CommScope XPND portfolio enables a variety of FTTH designs. Low count splitters (1x2 to 1x8) can be used in a distributed split architecture, where the next stage splitter is implemented in an outside plant cabinet or remote terminal. Higher-count splitters (1x16 to 1x64) use pigtails, and can be used in a centralized split (“home run”) architecture, where point-to-point fiber connections connect each home passed to a port on the splitter. CommScope XPND panels easily install next to an OLT, enabling more flexible and efficient FTTH deployment options. XPND configurations are released with SC/APC, LC/APC connectors. CommScope’s portfolio of XPND splitters meets OSP operating temperature and environment requirements of -40°C to +70°C. XPND splitter modules are tested to IEC 61300-2-22, 61300-2-21, 61300-2-19, 61300-2-45, 61300-2-26, 61300-2-4, 61300-2-44, 61300-2-9, 61300-2-1, 61300-2-42, and 61300-2-5.
