This week, ARRIS shared its vision and innovation for the IP transformation, multiscreen, and multiple industry initiatives at The Cable Show. Leading up to the conference, Multichannel News published an interview with CEO Bob Stanzione discussing the one-year milestone of ARRIS’s merger with Motorola Home. Bob was also recently named to the 2014 CableFAX 100, honoring his many achievements at ARRIS’s helm.

In other news, our evolving habits for entertainment consumption continues to make headlines, with Rapid TV News highlighting a report that revealed 70% of US TV viewers consider themselves “binge-viewers.” Moreover, new research from Parks Associates found that 64% of US broadband households have at least one consumer electronics device such as smart TVs, set-top devices or digital media receivers connected to the Internet, according to Advanced Television.
