Distributed Architecture
Distributed Architecture, similar to Centralized, provides a single-level split architecture. However, the splitters would be distributed throughout the serving area as opposed to a consolidated FDH location. Distributed splitting positions the splitter closer to the end customer and greatly reduces the need for high optical fiber count cables throughout the network.
