Features and Benefits

The STARLINE® Dual-Port MiniBridger® FDX amplifier enables cable operators to leverage their existing DOCSIS® 3.1 network assets to quickly and cost-effectively realize DOCSIS 4.0 network capacity to enable multi-Gigabit symmetric data services. By leveraging existing network assets, FDX upgrades can be performed with minimal changes to the network outside of node and amplifier changes, greatly reducing upgrade costs and customer disruption.

The Dual-Port MiniBridger FDX amplifier utilizes is compatible with standard STARLINE MB series housing to enable cable providers to easily upgrade their currently deployed MB series amplifiers for FDX operation. CommScope offers complete FDX upgrade kits for the MiniBridger platform to support targeted or wide-scale deployments of FDX capability at their own pace and budget.

The Single-Port MiniBridger FDX amplifier is intended to replace the Line Extender of the HFC network for extending the reach of DOCSIS 4.0 for the legacy upgrades.

1.2 GHz Downstream and 684 MHz Upstream bandpass for DOCSIS 4.0 FDX operation
Dedicated 108–684 MHz FDX band for simultaneous Upstream/Downstream transmission
Supports legacy DOCSIS 3.1 mode of operation using 1.2 GHz Downstream and 85 MHz Upstream bandpass with seamless support for FDX operation.
Upgrade options for seamlessly converting existing MB series amplifiers to FDX amplifier without removing the existing hardline installed base
Compatible with existing taps and passives in the installed network for 1 GHz or 1.2 GHz operation
