How is CommScope delivering on its promises made in 2014?
Our Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CR&S) team worked hard making sure we were wisely investing in our future. I’m proud to say that many of our sustainability efforts capture the essence of our long-term commitment to the people we employ, the customers we serve, the resources we use and the technologies we produce. We are proud of our sustainability progress and the positive corporate citizenship our professionals exemplify every day.

I strongly encourage you to check out the major changes and strategic initiatives that shaped CommScope in 2014. Please review and explore the metrics and goals we use to measure our progress and promote advancements against our top sustainability priorities including:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 65 percent by the end of 2020
- Divert 95 percent of non-hazardous waste from landfills by the end of 2014
- Reduce major reportable injury rate by five percent in 2014
- Reduce total restricted and lost workdays rate by five percent in 2014
In 2014 our leaders took time to define a sustainable philosophy on corporate responsibility that embraces our core company values and holds us accountable to produce smart solutions that respect our people and our planet. Our approach to sustainability is organized under three pillars:

- People and community
- Environment, health and safety
