Comsearch,
a CommScope company, has been chosen to serve as official spectrum
manager at 4G
World in Chicago October 24-27, the fifth consecutive year that it
will perform its wireless spectrum management and frequency coordination
duties at this event.
“Comsearch remains one of the wireless industry’s preferred experts for
frequency coordination and interference mitigation,” said Chris Hardy,
vice president and general manager, Comsearch. “With the advent of
ever-more sophisticated mobile devices, bandwidth-intensive data
applications and the growing dependence on wireless signal availability
everywhere all the time, we are committed to helping ensure the show
organizers and the thousands of attendees can enjoy another smoothly run
event.”
In their role as spectrum managers, Comsearch® engineers will coordinate
wireless operations and work to remediate interference issues among
exhibitors, attendees and local service providers before, during and
after 4G World.
“4G World has engaged Comsearch to serve as event spectrum manager for
five consecutive years, and we are extremely pleased with Comsearch’s
service level and the satisfaction level of our sponsors and
exhibitors,” said Kate Mitchell, senior director of marketing, Events

About 4G World
4G World is the first and only conference and expo covering the entire
ecosystem of next-generation 4G technologies that enable the mobile
Internet revolution, including mobile network infrastructure, advanced
devices, applications and content. Yankee Group believes operator
strategies for 4G network evolution will not be driven by technology,
but by competition and market demand. As a ubiquitous network takes hold
in the mature markets of North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific,
operators are anticipating massive growth in broadband data usage and
planning their network migration strategies and business models for
monetizing mobile Internet services. 4G World offers them an opportunity
to research state-of-the-practice business models and advanced mobile
technologies, and learn from other operators about what works—and what
doesn’t—as they migrate their networks to 4G. For more information,
