Andrew supplied a multi-operator ION(Intelligent Optical Network) fiber distributed antenna system to O2, the leading UK mobile operator, in support of a coverage and capacity system inside The O2 over the last year. Andrews 15 ION-M 9/18/21c tri-band remote units take signals from dedicated operator base stations or repeaters and spread them via fiber-optic cables throughout the arena to ensure reliable voice and data coverage for the millions of annual attendees to the entertainment venue.
