New Comsearch Entity to Serve Government Spectrum Management Needs

April 3, 2008 HICKORY, N.C.

CommScope, Inc., a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communication networks, has formed Comsearch Government Solutions, LLC, dedicated to meeting the radio frequency (RF) spectrum management needs of government spectrum users.

The new entity reflects the growing role of Comsearch, a CommScope company, in government projects. Comsearch is a leader in RF spectrum management, software and data solutions for wireless markets. Comsearch Government Solutions will build on Comsearch's more than 30 years of experience serving commercial and government spectrum users.

"For the past several years, Comsearch has been providing products and services to a broad range of defense and civilian federal agencies," said Chris Hardy, vice president and general manager, Comsearch. "The formation of Comsearch Government Solutions will enable us to better serve the government market and address the unique combination of strict performance and administrative requirements that come with federal contracts."

Comsearch Government Solutions currently is involved in a broad range of desktop and on-site, field-based spectrum analysis and RF engineering projects.
