SYSTIMAX® Solutions Strengthens Organisational Structure

Key appointments underscore commitment to Middle East region and expected to enhance market reach
September 13, 2006 DUBAI

SYSTIMAX Solutions™, the worldwide leader in structured connectivity solutions, today unveiled a new organisational structure for the Middle East region that it expects will further strengthen its market position by enabling it to serve its customers better.

Ciaran Forde has assumed the role of Managing Director for MEPA (Middle East, Pakistan and Africa) and will be responsible for driving SYSTIMAX Solutions’ sales and channel strategy, Forde will manage the various teams covering sales, marketing, business development, logistics and technical disciplines.

Commenting on his new position, Forde said, “The new organisational structure is specifically intended to extend our reach throughout the region and provide additional value-added support for our channel of authorized SYSTIMAX BusinessPartners. I will be directing a team of highly talented and dedicated professionals, and I am confident that together we can implement a successful business strategy.”

In another significant move, Craig Doyle has been appointed as Major Accounts Manager for the UAE (United Arab Emirates) and other GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. Based in Dubai, Doyle now has primary responsibility for developing and managing end user relationships and also the development of strategic alliances with leading industry-related players. Doyle transfers from SYSTIMAX EMEA Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

“The Middle East region is one of our fastest growing markets,” stated Doyle. “It will be my responsibility to ensure that the value we bring to our customers will address the technical, operational and commercial challenges they face. I am looking forward to working in such a dynamic environment.”

Another new face to the MEPA team is Laura Kelly, who has been promoted from SYSTIMAX Solutions UK Marketing Manager to Regional Marketing Manager, MEPA. Kelly will be responsible for increasing brand awareness in both traditionally strong and emerging markets. She will plan and implement regional marketing communications and public relations strategies, manage the delivery of SYSTIMAX Solutions’ channel marketing programs, and work closely with accredited BusinessPartners to drive and support joint marketing initiatives.

In another move, Dominic Morris has assumed a new role as Regional Channel Manager. Morris moved from Saudi Arabia to the regional Head Office in Dubai last year to head up the Channel Partner Program for the Middle East and Pakistan. Morris said: “We believe this new focus will generate immediate dividends for SYSTIMAX BusinessPartners, clients and the SYSTIMAX business in general.”

Heading up the technical team for the MEPA region is Wes Tweedley, who assumes his new role as Regional Technical Manager. Tweedley, an accredited RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) member of BICSI, a professional association supporting the information transport systems industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies, will drive knowledge and support for SYSTIMAX technology into the technical and end user community. He also manages all technical activities including channel support, site inspection, design assistance, warranty and certification.

Providing consistency in the region, Ehab Kanary will continue developing SYSTIMAX Solutions business in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. He is based in Jeddah and has responsibility for developing direct relationships with customers and consultants in Saudi Arabia's Western Province and Egypt. To provide and further augment support for customers in the Kingdom’s central and eastern provinces, Khaldoun Harwash has been appointed to manage Business Development. Harwash was previously with EBTTIKAR Technology Co. in Riyadh and brings with him a wealth of experience.
