CommScope's COVID-19 Customer & Partner Hub Visit
Compass Intelligence recently announced the results of its 8th Annual Compass Intelligence Awards in IoT, Mobile, and Emerging Tech. CommScope won the “IoT Sensor Company of the Year” award for its RUCKUS IoT Suite, which simplifies the creation of IoT access networks through the reuse of LAN and WLAN infrastructure. With this award, CommScope joins a prestigious group of winners including Microsoft, Verizon, Samsung, and Comcast.
“We are proud that CommScope won the ‘IoT Sensor Company of the Year’ award for our RUCKUS IoT Suite,” says Bart Giordano, SVP Product Management for CommScope’s RUCKUS portfolio. “This recognition reflects the importance of consolidating multiple physical-layer protocols onto a converged IP network, establishing uniform security protocols and reducing the cost and complexity of implementing IoT solutions.”
“We are especially thankful for this award from Compass Intelligence, validating what many of our customers and partners already know,” says Mark Grodzinsky, GM RUCKUS IoT at CommScope. “The market requires an open, extensible and secure, enterprise-grade IoT networking platform on which to build solutions to meet the general and specific needs of smart buildings, education, healthcare, and hospitality customers. CommScope’s RUCKUS IoT Suite meets these needs.”
The “IoT Sensor Company of the Year” category recognizes overall leadership, vision, and execution in integrating IoT sensors into compelling networked solutions which address real customer needs and makes the entire network greater than the sum of its individual parts.
CommScope’s RUCKUS IoT Suite fulfills these requirements by managing and configuring individual sensors, while supporting unique and compelling ways for these sensors to interact and engage with other devices, services, and analytics tools to identify trends and enable more efficient environments. Specific examples of enterprise solutions enabled by CommScope’s RUCKUS IoT Suite include connected entry, student and staff safety, asset tracking, and energy management.
“Compass Intelligence is honored to spread some cheer during these unprecedented times to recognize exceptional tech companies, products, and solutions,” states Stephanie Atkinson, CEO & founder of Compass Intelligence. “Honoring these companies that have put in an extraordinary amount of time, dedication, and innovation to the technology industry is very special."
