BANGALORE, INDIA, November 20, 2012—CommScope, Inc., a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, today announced the appointment of Alamuri Sitaramaiah (Sita) as its director of channel sales for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries. Sita will lead CommScope’s ongoing efforts in developing a high quality partner community that ultimately drives superior service and support for customers. Sita will report directly to Stephen Kowal, vice president, Global Partner Organization.

Sita has close to three decades of experience in developing and growing partner ecosystems and sales. Prior to CommScope, he held several senior positions at leading companies including Fluke Networks and Tyco Electronics. He also had stints at CMC Limited and Bharat Dynamics Limited.

Sita holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from theJawaharlalNehruTechnologyUniversityand a master’s of engineering degree in communication systems from theUniversityofRoorkee.
