CommScope, Inc. (NYSE: CTV), a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, announces that Ehab Kanary has been promoted to Country Sales Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Kanary, who will lead an expanded team strengthened by the addition of two new sales personnel, plans to further extend CommScope’s presence in both countries.

“Kanary has risen steadily through the CommScope ranks and after years of loyal service is promoted to head-up the company’s sales efforts,” said Ciaran Forde, managing director, Middle East, Pakistan, Africa, SYSTIMAX Solutions, CommScope.

“We see significant growth potential for CommScope in both Saudi Arabia and Egypt,” said Kanary. “The expanded sales team anticipates continuous and dedicated support to our increasing customer base. We have consistently gained industry recognition during recent years and the addition of regional sales leadership should help CommScope to achieve its strategic sales plan for these vital markets,” he said.

In addition to the announcement of Kanary, CommScope also recognizes two additions to the team who support the Middle East sales opportunities: Haytham Rabie is the new Business Development Consultant for Egypt and Mohamed Mohideen joins the Middle East team as Account Executive, based out of Dubai.

“Having worked for HiTek in a sales management role, Rabie has a diverse range of experience in the cabling industry with a focus on structured cabling, coaxial and control cables for the last eight years,” said Kanary. A second Business Development Manager will be appointed in the Kingdom.

With a mixture of customer and channel sales responsibility across UAE, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, Mohideen comes from one of CommScope’s BusinessPartners, bringing a history of service to SYSTIMAX Solutions™. “Mohideen’s successful track record with the SYSTIMAX Solutions brand should provide a strong foundation for developing new business initiatives. His appointment complements our existing GCC sales team in Dubai“By expanding our sales presence across the region, our objective is to make further contributions towards our international sales and subsequently to CommScope’s overall revenue growth,” said Forde.
