John Cowley is the director of Business Development for fuel cells for CommScope. He has more than 27 years experience in the IT, wireless and telecommunications industry with extensive technological and management expertise. He joined Lucent Technologies in 1997 with responsibility for structured cabling for residential markets before progressing to the role of Director in 2009. Prior to joining Lucent Technologies, he held positions with Bell Laboratories, AT&T Computer Systems, NCR and McCaw Cellular after the latter two were acquired by AT&T.

Mr. Cowley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and worked on his master’s degree in electrical engineering at Rutgers University.
